Co-Chair

Person With Lived Experience

Adrienne Co-Dyre suddenly entered the cancer world in 2013 when her then four-year-old daughter was diagnosed with High-Risk Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

With her daughter now seven years cancer free, Adrienne has redirected her cancer efforts to support the patient advocacy group, Helena’s Hope as the Director of Strategy & Alliances, and as Co-Chair at ACCESS.

Adrienne’s work focuses on the inclusion of Persons With Lived Experience in organizations, creating equitable access to innovative treatments for pediatric oncology patients, and the creation of ACCESS, a pan-Canadian pediatric cancer network including bringing a national pediatric cancer strategy to Canada.

Adrienne is an academic librarian, faculty member and Director of Libraries, King’s University College at Western University and St. Peter’s Seminary, London, Ontario.

In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys being with her family and sleeping.
