The ACCESS Annual Meeting is intended to bring together individuals actively engaged in ACCESS-supported projects and initiatives and is designed to foster meaningful networking across the entire event.

Opportunities to connect are embedded throughout the event, including a Welcome Networking Reception, poster sessions, small-group dinners, dedicated spaces for lunch and breaks, and interactive sessions focused on impact.

As a pan-Canadian network, this approach enables participants from across the country to build relationships, share diverse perspectives, and strengthen collaborations that extends well beyond the event itself.

Welcome Networking Reception
We are excited to bring together the ACCESS network and partners at the Welcome Networking Reception, kicking off the 2026 ACCESS Annual Meeting. This informal gathering offers all attendees an opportunity to mingle, connect, and engage with one another. It is a rare chance for the pan-Canadian community of stakeholders to meet in person and continue building meaningful relationships.

This year, the meeting will feature a Speakers’ Corner – a dedicated yet informal, walk-in space where attendees are invited to stop by and share their thoughts on camera. A videographer will be on hand to record short videos capturing your insights, perspectives, the hopes for the future of ACCESS, and help advocate for the ongoing need for support for pediatric cancer research and care in Canada. No planning or preparation is required.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

Dinner Groups
Small-group dinners are setup to bring together a diverse mix of voices from across the ACCESS network to create space for meaningful conversations, new connections, and candid perspectives you may not otherwise encounter during the meeting.

By sharing a meal in an intimate yet relaxed setting, we hope to foster relationships, exchange insights, and spark collaborations that strengthen our collective efforts.

The ACCESS Secretariat will share details regarding the group leaders, group members, and dinner locations via email with all those who are participating.
